I wanted to click some pictures of buildings, shapes and color, as well as some street scenes around Oslo. Here is a motley collection of architecture, graffiti (nuart and not so much) and some random street scenes (including the result of a “car v. berries” fender-bender) taken for the most part in Lilleaker, Grunnerløkka and the suburb of Lambertseter.
Nuart found along Akerselva
Random youngsters, flesh and metal, near Vøyenbrua on Akerselva
The “silo” – student housing in the Kuba area of Grunnerløkka
People finding ways to cool off on a hot day in Olaf Ryes Plass
Shake, shake shake. Manly men do housekeeping.
Another shot of Helgesens gate
Nuart mural, sadly further tagged by the less artistic, along Akerselva. Apparently by Martin Watson.
Peek-a-boo squares still under construction
A K6 Telephone Box, British style, randomly found at Ljabruveien 87

I am an amateur photography enthusiast living in Oslo, Norway.
My favourite subjects tend to be landscapes and nature - but I enjoy capturing urban scenes, architecture, abstract shapes and street art as well. View all posts by kewtiebird
