The Southwest Swedish Coast VI – Tjurpannans Naturreservat

While in Sweden, the weather was a continuation of the unseasonably long, hot, sunny summer we have had in Scandinavia this year.  However, on the day we visited the Tjurpannan Nature Preserve near Grebbestad, we had blustery, overcast weather which, in turn, worked the sea up into some choppy waves.  The Nature Preserve was windblown slabs of stone, for the post part, broken up by occasional small oceans of smaller, round rocks, with smatterings of grass, gorse and small shrubs.  There were a series of marked trails, most of which led to the sea where there were a few, small lighthouses aiding the sailboats along their coastal journeys.
