The Southwest Swedish Coast VII – Vitlycke Museum

Our last activity, while vacationing in Sweden, was to revisit the Vitlycke Museum.  It had been a few years since we had been the first time – long enough for the kids to have forgotten our past visit.  This museum, in Tanumshede, is located near a large number of Bronze Age rock carvings which have been cleaned up and re-marked.  There is an indoor exhibition as well as a mock-up of a Bronze Age “farm” where one can participate in a number of activities that could have occurred back when.  A trip over the road and there are trails leading to large slabs of rock on which the pictures of long ago are on display.
