We were back in Sweden for a quick weekend in Göteborg at the beginning of fall break. Göteborg has a thriving street art presence and that is reflected in some of the pictures here.
I wanted to capture the colorful apartment block with yellow-suited workers on the fire escapes
Art north of the Domkyrkan
Many of the closed “garage” doors were festooned with interesting art
A cool, old red brick building (towers and turrets included) near Klippans Färjeläge
The knobbly tree senses spring and has sent out new shoots
Street art on the wall in the Haga neighborhood
Find the lounging couple on the brygge of Västra Sannegårdskajen
A lighthouse boat. Who’d-a thunk?
I can’t help taking pictures of cranes. Especially bright orange ones.
Looking from under the bridge to the other side
….and brightens the water near the boats and bridge
As a bird lover, I had to enjoy this particular corner in Majorna
Looking up at this awesome building in Lindholmen
Another decorated garage door
Dried grass stems had collected, somewhat artistically, in a corner of the river
