Cold Oslo Views – Hvervenbukta Strand

One of our local beaches, Hvervenbukta strand, is seen here on a couple of different days in winter.

The fjord is partly icing over, creating some interesting designs in the ice
A view of the old pavilion and the forested hill dusted with snow
Sunset on a cold, winter day
Looking south on a grey winter day
The ice has broken up near the sand
Fog as thick as soup
A closer view of the pavilion
Another cold, foggy day – but we can see buoys and ripples
Ducks in the water
Sand, ice and sunset
Snow, ice and water
Polka dots in the ice – and a little red buoy
A view of Hvervenbukta as twilight descends
Rocks dusted with snow curve along the water
