Norwegian Summer – Eventyrholmen

This past summer, we spent a week outside Bergen staying in a cute little hytte – that the owners dubbed Eventyrholmen – which sits on its own tiny island

Our first view of the hytte from our parking spot

The view from a stone bridge between the hytte and the wider body of water

The local highway is hidden by some trees which are reflected in still water

There were lots of rorbu in the area, this with a bright blue door

The stone bridge bisects the neighboring building from its reflection

Someone’s house and rorbu are doubled in the water

More still water

A closer look at the neighboring rorbu at low tide

Eventyrholmen at sunset – well after midnight
