Fall Break – Views from Solvorn

This past October, while staying a week in Sogndal, Norway, we briefly stopped to visit the little village of Solvorn. Here are just a few views of Lustrafjorden – which is the innermost part of the large Sognefjord – from the shores of Solvorn.

Boats moored in the turquoise water of Lustrafjorden

Colorful trees and rorbu along the water, with some people I know waving from the end of a diving platform

More rorbu stretch to the end of the shore and the small village of Ornes can be seen across the fjord

A boat floats on the water with a view of the tall mountains on the far side of the fjord
