Nature: Flowers & Fungi

Here are some images of (mostly) blooms and ‘shrooms.

A stalk of tall, tall flowering grass

Flowering grass along the wall of someone’s apartment block

Not a bloom (but I guess technically it once was….)

Perky flowers and buds

Happy sunflower (with visitor)

A mushroom in the yard with an injury

Another variety of mushroom

Someone had a snack from this mushroom

A teeny tiny wee little mushroom

A duo

A loner

Orchid bloom

A rose one of my kids had gotten at the end of the school year looking quite dejected (I decided to snap some pics before I tossed it in the compost bin)

Another bunch of roses about to be tossed out

The orchid bloom in profile

I wanted another shot of the single, sad rose in front of the window shadows on the wall

  1. The tiny mushroom is wonderful, it reminds me of a butterfly egg. I think the perky flowers are a japanese anemone, I have some in my yard. And the fruit in the bare branches is another fine one.
