Around Norway – Water Shots

I’ve collected a few “random water shots” that did not happen to fit into other posts. A handful of the images were taken on various days at Hvervenbukta, a local beach here in Oslo, and the others were shot on our travels to other Norwegian locales.

Drama at the horizon (Hvervenbukta)

Distorted reflection (somewhere between Sandnessjøen and Lovund)

Birds (Hvervenbukta)

Perky clouds (Vega)

Water through the trees (Hvervenbukta)

A storm a-brewing (Askøy)

A wee boat dwarfed by the land (Seven Sisters)

A fjord in fall (Ornes seen from Mollandsmarki)

A turquoise lake viewed through the snowy mist (Skjolden Lake seen from Berdalsnosi)

  1. A beautiful collection of quiet, atmospheric water scenes. Each image seems to capture a different mood calm, tension, softness, and scale yet they all share that reflective quality water brings to a landscape. Together, they feel like fragments of weather, place, and light held in still moments.
