Last fall, while we were staying in the Norwegian mountains of Vestlandet, we visited two different small villages.
Undredal sits on the Aurlandsfjord and is known for the tiny stave church (although it has a different “look” than most stave churches), while Ulvik is found at the end of Hardangerfjord and is known for its fruit orchards.
Here are a few photos from our brief visits to Undredal and Ulvik, as well as a couple of sights seen en route.

How does Norway have so many stunning vistas. It is amazing. I remember Ulvik, but missed seeing the Granvin church. Lovely area that is worth a visit.
